How his own daughter really plays,
And that's why daddy coaches so

Just because the girls are on a team
Tell them all it isn't fair
To have daddy's little girl sitting on the bench
Daddy smiles each inning his eyes on her,
Daddy plays the game so she can have fun,
While the team wishes they could have won
